We have featured some of the tiny Linux PCs from Linutop before on geeky gadgets, now there is a new version available the Linutop 3.
The Linutop 3 comes with a Via C7 1 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and up to 2GB of flash memory instead of a HDD, other specifications include Ethernet, VGA and DVI, and 6 USB 2.0 ports.
Shuttle is now offering a Linux version of its X50 All in One PC, the Shuttle X500V Ultra Thin All In One Linux PC.
The Shuttle X500V Ultra Thin All In One Linux PC, comes with openSUSE 11.1, and it features an Intel Atom 330 dual core 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and a 15.6 inch touchscreen LCD display, with a resolution of 1366×768.
Jesse Vincent has managed to get Linux running on his Amazon Kindle 2, he hacked the Kindle 2 using a Ubuntu 9.04 port to ARM running in a chrooted environment.
MontaVista the makers of embedded Linux systems have demonstrated a one second boot Linux build on the Freescale Semiconductor MPC5121e hardware which it has been designed for.
Even though this is an embedded system which only loads minimal drivers and programs it’s surely going to have a positive impact for the desktop Linux builds.

Marvell has launched a new tiny Linux PC, the SheevaPlug, which is designed to offer high performance, ultra compact, green computing.
The SheevaPlug is a tiny Linux PC inside a wall socket power adapter, which uses 1/10th of the power of a standard PC, and it is about the size of a standard poweline adapter.

The Gdium Liberty 1000, comes with a choice of either an 8GB or 16GB removable SSD USB key, which they call the G-Key.

You may remember the tiny Linux PC we featured on the site previously, the Fit PC, well it looks like the Fit PC has gone on a diet and there is a new version out, the Fit PC Slim.
The Fit-PC Slim measures 4.3 x 3.9 x 1.2 inches and weighs in at just 13 ounces, as well as being incredibly small it uses only 6 watts of power making it very energy efficient.
