TiVo Premiere and QWERTY Remote

Tivo unveiled their new TiVo Premiere service last night which is the first TiVo box to use a new Adobe Flash-based interface. The upgraded interface now allows you to view it on HD widescreen displays and shows two seperate screens side by side as you navigate the new menu system.

TiVo Premiere is available in two versions the Premiere with a 320GB of storage, capable of saving upto 45 hours of HD veiwing priced at $300 and the Premiere XL with a huge 1TB or 150 hours of HD storage for $500. There’s also a monthly subscription fee of $12.95 for the service.

Archos Vision Series PMP’s

Archos has launched a new range of portable media players, called the Archos Vision series. There are four models in the Archos Vision range, the Archos A14VG Vision, Archos A15VS Vision, Archos Vision A30VC, and Archos A43VB Vision.

The Archos A14VG features a 1.4 inch display, 4GB of storage and a built in FM tuner, whilst the A15VS Vision is one of Archos’s thinnest portable media players measuring just 6mm thick.

Sanyo has added a new electric bike to its range with the launch of the Sanyo SPL Eneloop hybrid bike. The new model is designed to be even more efficient than previous versions.

The new Sanyo SPL Eneloop electric bike recharges itself when you are going down hills or braking, and also unlike previous models it also recharges when you are pedaling on level ground.

Doom Box Retro Gaming

If you enjoyed the original Doom then this dedicated gaming Doom Box will bring back memories. The Doom Box has been built using a Kodak DC290 camera that had a broken lens.

The camera runs the Digita OS so  JJ the creator was able to use the Doom port that already existed. Then stripped down the camera and created a custom casing. View the video after the break to see the Doom box in action.

Monochron Pong Clock

The Monochron Pong Clock was designed by Limor Fried, and the clock is based around a custom white on black 128 x 64 pixel LCD display. The clock displays an endless game of Pong and the time is advanced when one of the sides loses a point.

Microsoft Mobile Surface links a mobile phone to a camera and a projector, the screen is then projected onto a flat surface and the user can then interact with the Mobile Surface.

Asus has launched its first nine inch ebook reader, the Asus DR900. The Asus DR-900 features a nine inch screen, and comes with built in WiFi, plus the option to add a 3G connection.

According to Asus the DR-900 features a battery which will last long enough for you to read 10,000 pages on a single charge, the display is touch sensitive and it will come with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.
