Samsung Behold II Android Smartphone

Samsung and T-Mobile are launching another Google Android powered smartphone, the Samsung Behold II.

This is T-Mobile’s fourth Android mobile phone, and it comes with a 3.2 inch AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with built in autofocus, and it comes with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI and 3D Cube menu.

Palm WebOS 1.2.1 Enables iTunes Syncing Again

In the continuing game of cat of mouse between Palm and Apple, Palm has released a new version of WebOS for the Palm Pre that enables it to be synced with the latest version of iTunes.

Palm WebOS 1.2.1 is now available, and it enables Palm Pre users to once again sync their Palm Pre with the latest version of iTunes 9.0.1.

iPhone Pwnage Tool 3.1.3 For iPhone 3GS

The iPhone Dev team has released the latest version of their iPhone Pwnage Tool 3.1.3.

Pwnage Tool 3.1.3 will let your upgrade your iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch 2G to iPhone firmware 3.1, but only if you are using a custom jailbreak on your iPhone 3GS with firmware 3.0 or 3.0.1.

New WowWee Bots

Two bots which we featured back in January this year from WowWee are now available to purchase. The  humanoid called Joebot, that uses the same  hand controls as other WowWee humanoids but is now euipped with voice commands as well. The other called  Roborover can move around autonomously, avoiding obstacles, and has a guard mode that detects movement. Check out videos of both after the jump.

Toshiba LED Lightbulb

A new LED lightbulb is being released by Toshiba Lighting & Technology Corp with a total flux equivalent to that of a 60W incandescent lamp. Constructed from a lrage LED measuring 15x 15mm with fluxes of 810lm and 600lm. Currently there is  no other 8.7V LED light bulb that has a total flux of 810lm.

Symbian and Windows Losing Mobile OS War

According to AdMob’s latest report the  iPhone no has 40% of the smartphone market, up from 33% in February this year. Dont forget that AdMob’s numbers only represent mobile browser share within AdMob’s ad network but it is still an impressive gain.
