Verizon Droid DNA to Get Android 4.4.2 KitKat Starting Thursday

If you’re rocking the good old Droid DNA from Verizon Wireless, there’s a good news for you. The handset will get the much awaited Android 4.4.2 KitKat update with Sense 5.5 UI starting tomorrow, that is, April 24th.

The news came from HTC’s Mo Versi from Twitter that the company received technical approval, and the update should commence from Thursday.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo Gets Android 4.4 KitKat in Korea

Recently, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 3 Neo which comes with trimmed down specifications compared to the original Note 3. The handset came out with an older version, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, as its operating system with no word if it will get an update to KitKat or not.

Google Hangouts Receives An Update With Merged Conversations And More

Google has updated its Hangouts app, and introduced a number of new features and enhancements to the app, including merged conversations, widget support and a bunch of performance improvements.

Merged conversations is a new feature, more like iMessage on the iPhone, which merges SMS and Hangouts conversation with a same recipient. Users also get the ability to merge and unmerge conversations at will.

Google Play Store App Shows Android 4.4.3 Support In Its Change Log

Google hasn’t officially announced anything about the Android 4.4.3 update, but it has made rounds of appearances in the past few days.

It made its way to Sprint Nexus 5, and was rumored to hit the Google Play Edition Xperia Z Ultra in the coming days. Now, an app on the Google Play Store listed Android 4.4.3 support in its change log, and it’s an app from Google known as Google Edu Device Setup.

Motorola Moto G LTE Coming In June (Rumor)

We recently heard that Motorola would be launching an LTE enabled version of the Moto G, the Motorola Moto G LTE, and now according to a new report, the handset may launch in June.
