The Sony Xperia Go was announced recently and now it looks like it is headed to UK mobile carrier O2 some time this month, the device will be available with a range of contracts with the carrier here in the UK, although no exact launch date is given.
The Sony Xperia Go is designed to be a rugged smartphone, and it is waterproof and dust proof and conforms to the IP67 rating, it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Sony will release an Android 4.0 update for the device in the future.
The Sony Xperia Go features a 3.5 inch Reality Display with Sony’s Mobile BRAVIA Engine, and it is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor and it features a 5 megapixel camera.
O2 have not released any details on pricing of the Xperia Go on their network in the UK, there is also no release date as yet, all we know is it will be some time this month, more details can be found over at O2.
