We have been lucky enough to get our hands on one of Sony’s brand new ultra thin notebooks, the Sony Vaio X series, so I thought I would show you guys some photos of this super skinny notebook, before we give it a test and a full review.

The Sony Vaio X Series is probably one of the thinnest notebooks we have seen measuring just 13.9mm thick, and it is also ultra light weighing in at just 655g.

It features an Intel Atom z540 1.86GHZ processor, 2GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD and an 11.1 inch X-black LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, graphics comes in the form on an Intel GMA 500 chip, and it also comes two USB ports, an SD card slot, and a Sony Memory Stick slot.

Initial impressions on the Sony Vaio X is that it absolutely stunning, I cant believe how thin and light it is, and it is covered in carbon fibre which makes it look great.
