Sony launched the PlayStation 4 back in November of 2013, and since then it has sold extremely well. The consoles have been sold out as soon as they are put on sale, so it is not easy to get one. When we last heard some figures, Sony had managed to sell 6 million PlayStation 4 consoles so far.
Well, if you still need a brand new PlayStation 4 console and you don’t want to overpay on websites like eBay, you will be happy to know that supply of the console should increase by summer. This comes from PlayStation boss, Andrew House, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. House says, “We’re struggling to keep up with demand. Conservatively, as we get into the early summer months, we’ll be closer to a full supply situation.”
However, there is no guarantee that Sony will be able keep up with demand for the console, though they will do their best. The PlayStation 4 certainly seems hotter than the Microsoft Xbox One. Hopefully anyone who wants one can get one soon. Fingers crossed that the supply increases by summer or before.
