Design – Solar Powered Gramo Speakers

Here is an interesting concept design, from Finnish designer Pekka Salokannel, the Solar Powered Gramo Speakers.

The Solar Powered Gramo Speakers feature three layers of solar panels, and have rechargeable batteries inside, as you can see from the photo the speakers can be easily folded away for greater portability.

Inside the speaker there is also a volume control, and the speakers would be ideal for the summer when you are at the beach or on holiday.

Unfortunately it is just a design concept at the moment, lets hope some manufacturer decides to put this cool design into production.
