Smartview S9 Surveillance System Debuts

Keeping your home and office safe while you are away is a big deal for lots of us. The last thing we want if thieves to break into our home or office is for them to get away because we didn’t have security in place. If you are looking for video surveillance for your home or office, a new system called the Smartvue S9 has surfaced at MacWorld.

The system is wireless and uses 802.11n technology to stream video from fully HD 1080p resolution cameras to the video server. The system has a 1TB or a 3TB video server with WiFi built-in. The server will interface with just about every mobile device out there from tablets, to phones, to computers.

You can just log on and see the live video feeds from the cameras. The cameras can even be controlled for direction too. The system is far from cheap with the 1TB 802.11n server selling for $1999 and a single camera will cost you $699. The gear can be pre-ordered right now.
