Sling Player For The iPhone Will Finally Work Over 3G On AT&T

The Sling Player for the Apple iPhone has been out for quite some time now, but unfortunately it wouldn’t work over 3G with AT&T as AT&T claimed that it would use up to much of their bandwidth.

Good news if you have been waiting to use your Sling Player over 3G as AT&T have announced that Sling Player users will be able to use it over 3G when the next version of the application is released.

According to Sling Media, the latest version of the Sling Player app uses a lot less bandwidth and improves picture quality over the previous version.

I wonder if we will see an iPad specific version of the Sling Player launch for when the iPad is available, which would take better advantage of the iPads larger screen.
