Sky Lasers 125mW Laser Pointer Review
The guys over at Sky Lasers sent us a green laser pointer to review, the Sky Lasers 125mW Laser Pointer.
The Sky Lasers 125mW Laser Pointer is slightly different than some of the laser pointers we have seen previously, as it has an adjustable beam which lets you select either standard or high powered mode.

The standard laser pointer mode can be used for presentations to point things out on a notice board, whilst the high power laser pointer mode can be used for start gazing, you need to wear special goggles in this mode as the laser is really strong.

Here are the specifications.
- Wavelength 532 nm (Green)
- Dimensions 13mm x 171mm
- Transverse Mode TEM00
- Operating Mode CW
- Beam Diameter < 1.2 mm
- Beam Divergence < 1.0 mRad
- Switch Type Momentary switch
- Duty Cycle 100 seconds on, 30 seconds off
- Power Source 2 x AAA batteries (not included)
- Operating Temperature 0C ~ 40C
- Battery Lifetime 45 min
- Expected Diode Lifetime >5000 hours
Personally I have never been that into laser pointers and have never really understood what they were used for apart from in presentations etc, but the Sky Laser high powered laser point does seem to be one of the better ones and the adjustable setting make it cool, if you want one they are available in various power and price ranges from Sky Lasers.

Wow! Now that is cool! When we are camping we often watch the stars, and my husband tries to show me stuff, and do you think I could actually ever see what he is pointing too?? It can be very frustrating some times.
