Silicon Power has a bunch of different memory cards for various types of storage needs for DSLR cameras and other digital cameras. When it comes to high-end and semi-pro DSLRs the cameras tend to use Compact Flash or CF cards to store images rather than SD cards.
Silicon Power has announced that it has added a new high capacity CF card to its 600x speed pro level CF card family. The card is able to hit file transfer speeds up to 90MB/s and has previously been offered in 8GB to 32GB capacity.
The new 64GB capacity shares the features with the older cards in the line. It will work with any CF card camera, it supports PIO mode6, MWDMA4, and UDMA6. It also has ECC and supports 8-bit and 16-bit host data transfers. Pricing and availability on the new 64GB CF card is unannounced.Filed Under: Technology News
