Seagate Momentus XT Hyrbid Hard Drive

Seagate has launched a new hybrid hard drive which is a combination of a standard hard drive and a solid state drive (SSD), the Seagate Momentus XT.

The Seagate Momentus XT is a 7200 rpm SATA hard rive combined with a 4GB SSD, and it comes with built in software which tracks your uisage and then uses the SSD part of the drive to optimize performance.

It will come in a range of different sizes up to 500GB, with prices starting at $113 for the 250GB model and $155 for the 500GB model.
