Computer geeks that like to push their computers to the highest levels of performance they can know that better cooling is necessary. One of the companies that offer many different cooling solutions for computer fans is Scythe and it has a new cooling solution that is debuting today.
The new CPU cooler is called the Mine 2 and has an interesting design that wedges a fan in the middle of two heat sinks. The cooler can have up to three fans mounted on it for some serious cooling. The Mine 2 uses a universal attachment system that lets it work with most major CPU sockets.
It supports Intel Socket T / LGA775, Socket LGA1155, Socket LGA1156, and Socket LGA1366. It also supports AMD Sockets AM2, AM2+, and AM3. The heat sink measures 130 x 143 x 160mm and weighs 40.57 ounces. It also comes with a fan controller to turn the fan up or down depending on the needs.
