In March Samsung and Best Buy announced that they would put Samsung Experience shops within Best Buy stores. The purpose of these small shops is to educate shoppers about Samsung products and get them interested in buying them.
Samsung announced that their Experience shops will take about 460 square feet of space and will begin functioning on April 8. Samsung and Best Buy have an agreement that these mini shops will keep going for the next three years.
After that they will evaluate performance and decide if they want to continue the arrangement. Only a few have popped up so far, but Samsung hopes that the Experience shops will be open in all Best Buy stores across the country by June.
