When it comes to caring for their phones, some people are all thumbs. If you are the clumsy type, check out Samsung’s latest offering, the Samsung Rugby Smart. It will survive your horrible treatment. That’s because it is made to comply to military standard 810F. It will be safe from dust, extreme temperatures and can even remain submerged for 30 minutes in water that is up to a meter deep.
This phone will survive your clumsiness where other phones would not. Forget clumsiness, you can really abuse this one and it will keep working. It packs in a 3.7″ WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel rear camera for HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front camera, microSD memory card slot, 4GB of internal memory, HSPA+ connectivity and a 1,650mAh battery.
It runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and there’s no word yet if Samsung will upgrade it to Android 4.0. This smartphone will be available on AT&T starting March 4th for $100 with a two-year contract.
