Samsung Chromebook Series 5 Announced

As well as announcing the new Acer Chromebook, Google also announced a model from Samsung called the Chromebook Series 5, it features a 12.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Processing is provided by an Intel Atom N570 1.66Ghz processor, there is also a 16GB solid state drive , plus a HD web camera and of course Google’s Chrome OS.

Other specifications on the new Samsung Chromebook Series 5 include WiFi and optional 3G, two USB 2.0 ports, a 4 in 1 memory card reader, a mini VGA port and a battery which is reported to give you up to 8.5 hours of usage.
