Roku Streaming Media Player gets UFC Channel

Years ago, I was a big boxing fan and once the UFC came around boxing quickly became boring to me. I like the UFC and it is one of the fastest growing spectator sports out there. The UFC and Roku have teamed up to bring pay per view UFC events to users of the streaming media device.

The Roku Player is getting its own UFC channel and the first UFC PPV card to be streaming on the device will be the upcoming Rampage and Rashad Evans card. All future PPV cards will be offered on the Roku device as well.

The channel will also have archived events and will air other preliminary bouts that aren’t shown on the live events. It’s not clear if the archived events will be offered free or if they will require a fee to watch. You can get a Roku device for about $80.
