The robotic GigaPan Epic Pro camera mount which allows photographers to control their DSLR cameras to create highly detailed panoramic images, has this week received a new firmware upgrade.
Providing users of the Gigapan Epic a wider range of functions, including new settings to enhance high dynamic ranges (HDR) imaging. The GigaPan Epic Pro is strong enough to hold a camera and lens combination of up to 10 lbs in weight, and will take hundreds, even thousands of detailed individual photos to make up on intricate gigapan image.
Current EPIC Pro users can download the new firmware to replace the previous version, at no additional charge, and if you fancy having a go at professional panoramic landscape photography, the EPIC Pro Robotic Camera Mount is available to purchase for $895.
