The one we tested worked fine, although we have had a number of comments from users saying that they have had problems with it, so we would recommend you look for an alternative charger.

Maybe this MBS was made for iphone 2G only, it is definietly not recommended for iphone 3G & 3Gs

I too bought one of these from ebay. Upon plugging it in it shut off my 3GS. Had to do a hard reset to get it to turn on again. After the getting the phone to turn back on I realized internal battery would deplete in 3 hours of standby. Had to restore to factory firmware to return to normal (crappy) battery operation.

bought one of ebay it burned my 3gs whenever you connect any cable it shuts off.
same problem do not buy if any one has a solution let me know i think the power chip is burnt on my phone

Second warning here.

It seems to work for a while, today it almost killed my 3GS.
Mine is having very hard time booting, backlight is flashing like crazy, and whenever you connect any cable it shuts off.

Trying desperately to get it working; it doesn’t look good.

I am on a business trip right now and I am f###ed.

DO NOT BUY THIS . get one from a trusted manufacturer. NOT THIS.

Just a warning, I bought this from a noname ebay seller and it burned out my friend brand new 3GS – I don’t believe it.
