Review – Mobile Power Station – iPhone Charger
Here’s another battery backup gadget for your iPhone, the Mobile Power Station.

We have been testing the Mobile Power Station for the iPhone over the last week, and it does the job of keeping your iPhone juiced up when you need some extra power.
Although it isn’t going to give you as much extra power as the Mophie Juice Pack, I can’t fault it for the price. It is a lot smaller than some of the other iPhone battery packs we have tested.

TheMobile Power Station slots into the iPhone charging slot, it can also be recharged this way using your iPhone charging cable. I wan’t able to test the exact amount of extra power it will give you, but it was able to charge the iPhone from flat and it still seemed to have a bit of power left in it.
Overall if you are looking for a budget charger for your iPhone then I would recommend the Mobile Power Station, it is available for $17.95 from Budget Gadgets.
Thanks to the guys at Budget Gadgets for sending the Mobile Power Station to us for review, they have also been kind enough to offer our readers a discount on any purchases, if you wan’t to buy anything from there just use this code ‘RM5OFF4′ and you will get 5% off any purchase.

Second warning here.
It seems to work for a while, today it almost killed my 3GS.
Mine is having very hard time booting, backlight is flashing like crazy, and whenever you connect any cable it shuts off.
Trying desperately to get it working; it doesn’t look good.
I am on a business trip right now and I am f###ed.
DO NOT BUY THIS . get one from a trusted manufacturer. NOT THIS.

I too bought one of these from ebay. Upon plugging it in it shut off my 3GS. Had to do a hard reset to get it to turn on again. After the getting the phone to turn back on I realized internal battery would deplete in 3 hours of standby. Had to restore to factory firmware to return to normal (crappy) battery operation.
