You unlock your iphone so you can use other SIM cards right? Is that the only reason? I presume you owners are under a contract since the 3Gs is pretty new...

Because I don&#039;t understand....why do you want to bother and unlock your iphone (ex. 3G S) when you are more or less still bound to a contract with ex. AT&amp;T and you have to pay those (for ex.) 24 months anyway, and still you wanna put in another SIM which you have to pay for as well...am I totally wrong here?? What am I missing??

To jailbreak it...that I can understand!!! but not the unlock...</description>
