Purplera1n iPhone 3GS Jailbreak – Now available for Mac
Last week we told you about the purplera1n iPhone 3GS jailbreak which was released by Geohot ahead of the iPhone Dev Team, the version that was released only worked with Windows PCs, there is now a new version available that will work with Mac’s as well.
You can download both the Mac and Windows versions below, once you have used purplera1n you can unlock your iPhone 3GS using ultrasnow.

If you want to unlock your iPhone 3G you can use redsn0w.

The iPhone Dev Team have now released the latest version of redsn0w which works with the iPhone 3GS.

Update 16th July 2009
The iPhone Dev Team has released a new version of Ultrasn0w, you will need to jailbreak your iPhone or iPhone 3GS with Redsn0w first.
