Powermat – Wireless Gadget Charger
Nothing annoys me more that wires, I hate them, the underside of my desk looks like spaghetti junction, well it looks like a company called Powermat has a solution to all our gadget charging problems, with their new range of wireless gadget chargers.
These new Powermat gadget chargers consists of a no conductive charging mat and a series of adapters which you can either plug into your gadget, or you can add a case to your gadget, which charges it via the charging mat without any wires.
Another interesting feature is that powermat can transmit data to your gadget, although there are no details on transfer rates, this certainly would be great if I could charge and sync my iPhone wirelessly.
The Powermat charging mat will retail for around $100, with the individual gadget adapters costing between $25 and $35, which could end up expensive if you have a lot of gadgets to charge, they are expected to be released in Q4 of this year.
