PayPal updates Android app

PayPal is always busy trying to stay on top as THE place to pay and get paid. And in that spirit, it has updated the Paypal app for Android.

The biggest news is a complete user interface redo which is supposed to vastly improve the overall design and navigation within the app. The theme is darker for one thing. It is also now easier to scan payment cards while on the go, as well as giving users an improved overview of their available, pending and total balance.

It certainly looks much improved and if the navigation really is that much easier than this update is well worth it. Have you used it yet? What do you think?
