Some of our reader will remember the Sanyo range of Xacti camcorders, Panasonic bought Sanyo a while back and they have now launched a new range of camcorders which are based on the Sanyo Xacti ones.
As you will see from the photos below, they share the same design as the Xacti camcorders, although they have been given a new name and Panasonic branding.
There are three different models in the range, the Panasonic HX-WA10, which features a 16 megapixel sensor, and is waterproof up to 3 metres, it comes with a 2,6 inch LCD display and an SDXC card slot plus HDMI and USB, this model will retail for about $550
Next up is the Panasonic HX-DC15 which features a 16 megapixel sensor, a 3 inch LCD display and 16GB of built in memory, there is also an SDXC card slot plus HDMI and USB, this one will cost $610.
Finally there is the Panasonic HX-DC1 which comes with a 14 megapixel sensor, a 3 inch LCD display, an SDXC card slot plus HDMI and USB, this version will set you back around $425.
