Palm Pre – Specifications Revealed
Palm has released further details of their much anticipated smartphone, the Palm Pre.

The Palm Pre will come with 8GB of storage, but much like the iPhone you won’t be able to use all of it with about 7.4GB available, presumably the 0.6GB is used by the OS.

Other specifications include Bluetooth, 802.11 b.g WiFi, and support for MPEG-4, H.263 and H.264 video formats, the most interesting thing to come from the new details is that the Palm Pre will come with a tethering option, where you will be able to use it as a modem on your PC or netbook.

I think adding the tethering option is a smart move by Palm, it is something that Apple, AT&T and O2 over here have avoided until now, maybe they will take notice of this and give iPhone users what they wan’t.
The Palm Pre looks like a great phone, I can’t wait to get my hands on one to check it out and see how it compares to the iPhone, maybe at last Apple will have some competition with the Pre.
