Samsung Sells 5 Million Galaxy S II Smartphones In South Korea
Back in September Samsung announced that they had sold over 10 million Samsung Galaxy S II smartphones, and now the company has announced that they have now sold over 5 million Galaxy S II devices in their domestic market, South Korea.
It took Samsung just 9 months to reach the 5 million Galaxy S II devices sold in South Korea, and the Samsung Galaxy S II is probably one of the most popular Android smartphones available on the market today.

Samsung Star 3 And Star 3 Duos Mobile Phones Announced
Samsung has added a couple of new mobile phones to its range with the launch of the Samsung Star 3 and the Star 3 Duos, which will launch in Russia at first and will then be available in Europe and other countries around the world.
The two handsets share the same specifications, except that the Star 3 Duos comes with a dual SIM card slot allowing you to use two seperate SIM cards on the handset.

Microsoft Getting $20 To $30 For Each Windows Phone Sold?
It looks like we may have some information on how much Microsoft charges hardware manufacturers for its Windows Phone licenses, the new comes from smartphone manufacturer ZTE, who recently unveiled a new Windows Phone, the ZTE Tania.
According to Trusted reviews, they were informed by Santiago Sierra, a Portfolio Manager for ZTE in the UK, that ZTE pays Microsoft between £15 and £20 for each Windows Phone smartphone, which works out at around $23 to $30.
Q.U.B.E. Arriving On iOS, Mac and OnLive Soon (video)
Indie game developer Toxic Games who started their development introduction with a bang, by selling more than 12,000 copies of their first game Q.U.B.E. within just the first 4 days from launch. The new Q.U.B.E. game was developed after receiving funding from Indie Fund, which after the storming first few days sales was able to be paid back in full.
Toxic Games have now announced that they are already prototyping an iOS and Mac version of their new Q.U.B.E. game, and have been in development with these for over 2 months. The development company is also planning to launch an OnLive version of the game in the not too distant future.

Sony Ericssons Reports 207 Million Euro Loss For Quarter Four
Sony Ericsson, which is soon to become just Sony, as the two companies recently announced that Sony would buy Ericsson out of their joint smartphone business and re-brand its Sony Ericsson smartphones under the Sony brand has just reported a massive loss in the fourth quarter of 2011.
For the three months which end in December 2011, Sony Ericsson made a lost of 207 million Euros on total revenue of 1.29 billion Euros, this compares to an 8 million Euro profit for the same period in 2010.

Google Rolls Out New Features To Its Google+ Mobile Apps
As well is announcing the addition of the new web cam recording feature to its Google+ social networking site today. Google has also rolled out a new update for its Google+ mobile apps. The new update brings with it two new features to the Google+ mobile web application, with a new What’s Hot stream, and seeing who +1′d a post feature.
The What’s Hot stream has been added by Google to enable you to see a selection of the most interesting content currently being shared on Google+, with just a simple flick of your thumb. To use the new feature simply slide your finger or thumb to the right of your Google+ Circles stream.

Official Wikipedia App Lands In The Android Market
Wikipedia have had an official Wikipedia app available on Apple’s iPhone for some time, good news for Android fans as they have now launched the official Wikipedia app for Google’s Android OS.
the Wikipedia for Android app comes with a range of features, which include the ability to save articles to view later when you are offline, and you can also share articles using the Android share function.
LoveFilm Coming To LG Smart TVs
LG has announced that it has signed a deal with LoveFilm to bring content from the movie streaming service to its range of LG Smart TVs, and users of devices will be able to stream both movies and TV shows direct without the need of any additional hardware.
LoveFilm is already available on over 175 different connected devices, which include Microsoft’s Xbox 360, Sony’s PlayStation 3, Apple’s iPad and also a range of devices including smart TVs from both Samsung and Sony.
