iTunes Match Launches In Austria, Greece And Italy
It looks like Apple is expanding their iTunes Match service as MacRumors is reporting that the service has now launched on some additional countries, which include Austria, Greece and Italy.
Apple has yet to announce the launch of iTunes Match in any additional countries, and it isn’t clear whether it is just Italy, Austria and Greece that the service is now available or whether any more countries are being added as well.
Nokia Lumia 800 Gets Firmware Update, Fixes Audio Volume Bug
Nokia has released a new firmware update for their Lumia 800 Windows Phone device, and the latest update is firmware version 12072 and it is a minor software update which is designed to fix the audio volume bug that users reported previously.
The update also apparently comes with an updated camera app with updated camera settings and more including automatic detection of 50Hz and 60Hz flickering using flicker reduction.
RIM Not Samsung Responsible For ‘Wake Up’ Protest At Apple Store (Video)
Last week we told you that Samsung had staged a protest outside an Apple Store in Australia, in some sort of viral marketing campaign, well it turns out that Samsung had nothing to do with it.
RIM was behind the wake up campaign, and they have confirmed to MacWorld that it was part of a campaign which will be revealed on the 7th of May, have a look what they had to say below and also the video which we showed you last week.
Alienware’s Gaming Laptops Get Latest Intel Ivy Bridge Processors
Alienware has announced that its range of gaming notebooks, which include the Alienware M14x, the M17x and M18 will be getting Intel’s new Ivy Bridge processors.
Prices will start at $1100 for the Alienware M14x, $1500 for the M17x and $2,000 for the M18x, and a number of different processor options will be available including a 2.9 GHz Core i7-3920XM for the M17x and 2.9GHz Core i7-3920XM for the new M18x.
UK Court Says The Pirate Bay Must Be Blocked By UK ISPs
A court in the UK has ruled that access to The Pirate Bay must be blocked by a number of ISPs here in the UK, the Internet Service Providers include Sky, Everything Everywhere, Talk Talk, O2 and Virgin Media.
The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) previously asked the ISPs in November of 2011 to block access to the site, but the ISPs said that they would only block access to the Pirate Bay if they were ordered to do so by a court order.
Intel Demos New NUC Motherboard That Fits In Your Hand
Intel has shown off a new tiny motherboard, much smaller than the previous mini-ITX system motherboards, called NUC or Next Unit of Computing, this tiny motherboard measures just 4 inches by 4 inches, this compares to the 6.7 inch by 6.7 inch size of the mini-ITX motherboards.
This new NUC motherboard will work with Intel’s Core i3 mobile processor, but could apparently also handle more powerful processors as long as the power consumption and heat generation isn’t too high.
More Details Leaked For Nintendo Wii U
Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U console will launch some time later this year. We don’t have an official date, but now we have more details about Nintendo’s latest console thanks to a document from the folks over at N-Europe. The details center around the Project Cars game by Slightly Mad Studios and how the developer will be taking advantage of some of the console’s features. It sounds like it will be a good console, with very versatile gameplay options.

Sprint Galaxy Nexus Having Data Problems, Fix On The Way?
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus recently launched on US mobile carrier Sprint, and it would appear that a number of owners of the device are having problems with data on Sprint’s network.
There seems to be quite a bit of talk about the issue over at the Sprint Community Forums, and according to a post by someone from Sprint, the company is aware of the issue and a fix is being worked on.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 pre-order cards confirm November 13 release date
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to arrive. We still have a long way to go unfortunately, but now it looks like we have the November 13 release date confirmed, thanks to these pre-order cards. The official announcement of the game has not even happened yet, but rumor is it will happen tomorrow.

Skype For iOS Updated
Skype has released a new version of its app for Apple’s iOS platform, and the latest version of Skype for the iPhone and iPad comes with some new features as well as some performance enhancements.
There are some minor improvements to the user interface, and you can now move your own video preview around, plus there is a new sign in screen and the application will now automatically restart if it had previously shutdown unexpectedly.
Angry Birds Space Hits 50 Million Downloads
It looks like Rovio Mobile has another hit on their hands with the latest installment in the Angry Birds series, Angry Birds Space, as Rovio has announced that their latest game has hit 50 million downloads.
It took Rovio Mobile’s Angry Birds Space just 35 days to reach a massive 50 million downloads, and according to Rovio it is the fastest growing mobile game available at the moment.
