HTC Flyer Android Honeycomb ROM Leaked
The HTC Flyer went on sale back in May, and it came with Android Gingerbread, plus HTC custom user interface, HTC Sense, it looks like HTC intends to bring Android Honeycomb to the HTC Flyer, as an Android Honeycomb ROM for the Flyer has been leaked.
The Honeycomb ROM for the HTC Flyer is apparently an early beta version, and there are no details as yet on when HTC will actually release Honeycomb for the Flyer.
Apple Claims Android Infringes Apple API Patent
Apple has been suing a number of device manufacturers like HTC and Samsung who make smartphones running Google’s Android OS, and many people have speculated that Apple decided to go after the manufacturers on Android rather than Google directly.
Now we hear the first accusation from Apple directly against Google, and it comes in the form of a recent filing with the ITC, where Apple are accusing Google’s Andy Rubin, who worked at Apple back in the 90′s of infringing their API.
Gateway TP Series A60 Tablet Launches At Future Shops
Gateways new TP Series A60 tablet has now arrived online in the online Future Shop for $399. The 10.1 inch TP Series A60 is a re-skinned Acer Iconia Tab A500 with a few extras added to make it Gateways own.
The Gateway TP Series A60 tablet is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 processor supported by 1GB RAM and includes 16GB of storage for your apps and media and comes supplied running Honeycomb Android 3.1.

The Worlds First Electric Helicopter Takes To The Skies
Electric vehicles are becoming more and more popular, we have featured a few here at Geeky Gadgets, and now Pascal Chretien has developed the worlds first electric helicopter.
The helicopter made its first flight on the 12th of August, and the flight lasted a total of two minutes and 10 seconds, and is the first of many test flights of this electric powered helicopter.
Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 Official Multiplayer Trailer (video)
Not to be outdone by EA and their Battlefield 3 game, Activision Blizzard has this week released a new multiplayer trailer for its highly anticipated Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 3 game which will be released on November 8th for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles.

Vodafone Germany Launches Two Android Tablets
Vodafone Germany has announced two new Android tablets that will be available exclusively through Vodafone, the Vodafone Smart Tab 7 and the Vodafone Smart Tab 10.
Both devices will come with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, plus a dual core 1.2GHz processor, the Smart Tab 10 features a 10 inch t0uchscreen display, whilst the Smart tab 7 features a 7 inch touchscreen display, with screens will have a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
Sony SA-NS500 AirPlay HomeShare Speaker
As well as launching their new 360 degree iPhone and iPod Bluetooth speaker docks Sony has also this week unveiled their latest AirPlay and HomeShare speaker in the form of the Sony SA-NS500.
The Sony SA-NS500 is equipped with four drivers a subwoofer and is capable of providing up to 6 hours on a full charge using it internal re-chargeable battery, and supports Apple’s Airplay and Sony HomeShare technology.

Sharp Showcases First 8k4k HDTV With 7680 x 4320 Resolution (video)
This week at the IFA in Berlin Sharp has been showcasing their new 8k4k HDTV that provides an amazing 7680 x 4320 resolution. The 85″ HDTV’s resolution is 16 times that of a standard 1080p display and has been built for demonstration purposes.

HTC Jetstream Tablet Now Available From AT&T
The HTC Jetstream tablet was announced last week, it will be available exclusively through AT&T in the US, and the tablet is now available from AT&T, although it is quite pricey at $699.99.
You will also have to sign up to a two year agreement with AT&T which will cost a minimum of $14.99 a month for 250MB of data, if you don’t want to sign up for a two year agreement, you can purchase the HTC Jetstream for $849.99.
Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare Pack Trailer (video)
If you are thinking of pre-ordering Battlefield 3 it might be worth your while using either Game, Gamestation or Origin as all these are offering the Battlefield 3 Physical Warfare Pack as a pre-order bonus on launch.

iPhone 5 To Feature 4 Inch Display?
We have been hearing more and more rumors about the iPhone 5 over the last few weeks, on Friday we saw a photo of a case which is reported to be for the new iPhone 5, and this would mean that the iPhone 5 would feature a thinner design than the existing iPhone 4 and also a larger display.
The guys over at Mac Rumors have put together some renders, based on a reported iPhone design document and have come to the conclusion that the iPhone 5 will feature a 4 inch screen.
Lenovo Claims Samsung Sold 20,000 Galaxy Tab Tablets Out Of 1M Shipped
Samsung hasn’t released any details on how many of their Galaxy Tab tablets they actually sold last year, the company announced that they had shipped a total of one million Galaxy Tab tablets, but never released any actual sales figures for 2010.
Now a Lenovo executive is saying that out of the 1 million Samsung Galaxy Tab tablets that were shipped to retailers, Samsung only actually sold 20,000 units, which is a pretty bold claim.
