Canon EOS C300 Digital Cinema Camera Unveiled

Canon has this week unveiled its new Canon EOS C300 digital cinema cameras at the Paramount lot in Hollywood. Both the new Canon EOS C300 is equipped with a Super 35mm CMOS and is capable of bringing 4k resolution 3840 x 2160 pixels.

The Canon C300 is available with either the cinema standard PL lens mount form or a Canon EF lens mount form and has two CF card slot, timecode, and HD-SDI output and records records 1080P at 24 – 30fps save the footage in MXF (Material eXchange Format) format.

The Samsung Galaxy Note went on sale in the UK yesterday, and it could possibly be one of the largest mobile devices on the market with its 5.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, but exactly how big is the device when compared to other smartphones?

Early Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayers Will Not Be Banned Says Microsoft

Luckily for some Modern Warfare 3 fans they were able to pick up the game from Kmart stores in Miami and New York even before it’s been officially released. If you are one of those lucky few there is no need to worry if you fancy giving the multiplayer side a go before the official launch. As Microsoft has explained no bans will enforced on legitimate copies purchased even if it was before the official launch date.

Some shipments of Modern Warfare 3 arrived at Kmart stores in the cities with instructions to sell the copies immediately, its not been discovered whether this was intentional or a mistake on Kmart’s part, but the chain has now stopped selling MW3 copies.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus Coming To Verizon 17th November?

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will go on sale in the UK and Europe on the 17th of November, Verizon Wireless in the US has yet to officially announce when they will start selling the Galaxy nexus, and we had heard that the device may be on their network around the 28th of November, although this wasn’t a confirmed date.

According to the guys over at Android Central, who have received some details of a possible launch date, Verizon may start selling the Samsung Galaxy Nexus from the 17th of November, which is the same date as the UK launch.

Microsoft Launch Bing HTML 5 App For iOS And Android (video)

Microsoft has this week launched a new Bing mobile application it has created for both Android and iOS devices and is built using HTML 5 to blend the mobile browser and app together. Providing you with a much faster search experience when you use either m.bing.com or the new stand alone application.

Microsoft have used HTML 5 to be able to provide users of the application with access to the unique capabilities of the different searches including camera and voice search. Watch a demo video of the new application after the jump.

HTC Rezound In Action (Video)

HTC’s latest Android smartphone, the HTC Rezound was launched yesterday, and now we get our first good look at the device, thanks to this hands on video which was put together by the guys over at The Verge.

It looks like Sony Ericsson may have a new Android device in the works, and according to a recent report the device will be called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD, as the name suggests it will feature a HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Other rumored specifications include a camera which can record full HD video in 1080p, possibly and 8 megapixel one, and Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0, and it is also said to come with the ability to record HD video and capture full resolution photos at the same time, which wounds like a cool feature.

Apple’s Siri Goes Offline For A Few Hours

One of the main features that Apple advertises for its new iPhone 4S smartphone is the new voice activated virtual assistant called Siri, and it would appear that yesterday there was the first outage of Apple’s Siri service.

Users in the US reported being unable to get Siri to work for a few hours, and many of them were getting the message that they couldn’t connect to the network, and it would appear that the problem lasted for a few hours.
