OCZ Synapse Cache Series SSD Unveiled

OCZ have announced a new addition to their solid state disk SSD line-up with the unveiling of their new OCZ Synapse Cache Series SSD. The new SSD has been designed to be used in SSD/HDD hybrid storage systems to boost performance by caching applications depending on their use.

The caching in the new drives is completed by the onboard Dataplex software, which is able to dynamically manage data, in such a way that it gives the SSD the most frequently-used “hot” data while assigning the lower-priority “cold” data to the HDD.

Today Amazon has announced that their new Kindle eBook Library lending scheme is now live and available at more than 11,000 local libraries around the US. The new lending scheme is powered by Overdrive and allows you to simply borrow Kindle books from your local library’s website and, with the click of a button, have them delivered to your Kindle app or device ready to read.

When check out a Kindle book (using a valid library card) you will also have access to real page numbers, and Whispersync technology from your Kindle device or applications. The same as you would if you had purchased or downloaded a Kindle ebook.

LG Optimus EX Dual Core Android Smartphone Leaked

It looks like LG is planning on launching a new dual core Android smartphone, the LG Optimus EX, which is reported to feature a 1.2GHz dual core processor and also come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Other specifications on the LG Optimus EX include a 4 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, plus a five megapixel camera on the back.

Kawasaki has unveiled details of a new Power Assist Robot Suit it has been developing that will provide extra support allowing you to carry weighs of around 30-40kg without any effort from your muscles.

Kawasaki has designed the suit to provide extra support and assistance using four motors located around hips and knees. Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 TF201 Spotted In Benchmarks

We have been hearing for a while that Asus are working on a second generation of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, it is rumored to feature NVIDIA’s new quad core Kal-El Tegra processor.

The existence of the Asus Eee pad Transformer 2 was recently confirmed by Asus’s chairman, and now a device called the Asus Transformer T201 has appeared in some benchmarks over at GLBenchmark.
