NASA Launches Educational iPad And Facebook Games
NASA has two announced the launch of two new educational games for Apple’s iPad device and Facebook. The iPad game puts you in the position of an Air Traffic controller for Sector 33, where you must merge the arriving planes into a single traffic stream as they pass over Modesto, CA on the western edge of your sector.

Avid has launched a new video editing iPad app, which it hopes will give Apple’s iMovie a run for its money, and is Avid’s first prosumer video editing app for the iPad. Avid Studio for the iPad enables you to quickly arrange your clips in the Storyboard, make precision edits using the Timeline, and add high-quality transitions, effects, and soundtracks to your movie footage.

Corning And Samsung Form New OLED Glass Partnership
Corning is well know for producing the majority of glass that is found in our smartphones, Samsung uses it in many of its devices, as do a range of other manufacturers.
Now Samsung and Corning are forming a joint venture where the two companies will manufacture special OLED glass substrates, which will be made up of Corning’s lotus Glass substrates and Samsung’s OLED displays.

Google Fined $660,000 In France For Offering Google Maps For Free
A court in France has fined Google a total of $660,000 for offering Google Maps for free in France, according to the court ruling Google is abusing its dominant position in mapping by offering Google Maps for free.
A company called Bottin Cartographes filed a lawsuit against Google, the company produces a paid mapping service for businesses and has clients like Louis Vuitton, Airbus and more.
Nokia Lumia 900 Goes Up For Pre-order At Microsoft Stores
Nokia recently announced their first 4G LTE smartphone for the US, the Nokia Lumia 900, which is expected to go on sale in March, and now it would appear that Microsoft Stores have started taking pre-orders on the handset.
We still don’t have an official launch date for the device, although the last thing we heard was the 18th of March, and the device can now be pre-orderd at Microsoft Stores for a $25 deposit, you will also have to sign a new two year contract with AT&T.
Pentax K-01 Mirrorless Camera Officially Launched (video)
Today Pentax has officially announced the new highly anticipated Pentax K-01 mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. Which is equipped with the same K-mount lens mount used by Pentax’s DSLR lenses. The design for the new Pentax K-01 has been created by Australian industrial designer Marc Newson, featuring a rubberised, ribbed grip covering on an aluminium frame.
The Pentax K-01 has been built around a 16-megapixel APS-C sensor, providing roughly 13 times the size of the 1/2.3-inch-type sensor found in the Pentax Q. ISO settings range from ISO 100 to ISO 25,600, and burst mode provides 6 frames per second capture at full resolution, and the camera will capture 1080p video at 24 fps, 25 fps, and 30 fps, as well as 720p video at 60 fps.

Samsung Ships 700,000 Galaxy Notes In South Korea
Samsung will be making a big push on the new Galaxy Note in the US this weekend, as the company is showing off a special Galaxy Note advert during this Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Samsung recently announced that they had sold over 1 million Galaxy Note devices around the world, and now the company has announced that they have sold over 1 million Galaxy Note smartphones in their home country of South Korea.
Three UK Launches Web Cube 3G HSPA+ Broadband Alternative
UK mobile carrier Three has just announced the Three Web Cube, which is basically a mobile alternative to broadband for your home, and the device is HSPA+ enabled.
According to Three the Web Cube will offer typical download speeds of between 2Mbps to 5Mbps with a maximum speed in excess of 10 Mbps, and you can also connect up to five different devices to the web cube at once.
HTC Confirms Some Of Its Android Handsets Are Leaking WiFi Passwords
HTC has confirmed that a number of its mobile Android handsets may leak security credentials on Wi-Fi networks, and has now issued a fix to help correct the problem.
The fix should automatically roll out to patch the issue, but HTC does states that some of its Android smartphones will require the user to manually load the fix on to their devices. HTC suggests that users should check its site for more details on how to perform the update.

HTC Sensation With Android 4.0 Launching In Europe March 1st
The HTC Sensation has been available for some time, we reviewed the handset last year, and now HTC has announced that they will launch an ‘Ice White’ version of the HTC Sensation on the 1st of March in Europe.
What makes the announcement interesting is that this new version of the HTC Sensation will ship with the latest version of Google’s Mobile OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
