Creative Launch Noise-cancelling HN-900 And Aurvana X-Fi 2 Headphones
Creative have unveiled a pair of new additions to their range of headphones this week in the form of the new HN-900, Aurvana X-Fi 2 noise-cancelling headphones, both equipped with 40mm Neodymium magnet drivers.
The top of the range Aurvana X-Fi 2 noise-cancelling headphones are priced at $199 an are aimed at customers that might be considering Bose’s range of noise-cancelling headphones, which are priced at nearly double the price.

Skype 5.8 For Windows Released, Adds HD Video Calling
Skype has released a new version of their VoIP software for Windows, Skype 5.8, and this new version brings a range of new features to Skype on Windows PCs.
Skype 5.8 now offer support for HD video calls, with compatible high definition web cameras, and it also comes with video call integration with Facebook, as well as a number of other new features.

Wenger Unveils New HypeX Range Of Survival Tool Pendants
Wenger the iconic Swiss Army knife manufacturer has this week take the wraps off a new line of survival tools called the HyperX range which have been designed to be carried as pendants rather than the traditional knifes.
Wenger has designed their new range of slim HypeX tools to be small, lightweight pieces with a handful of useful tools at your disposal. The full range consists of 6 individual pendants and will be launched later this year.

European Regulators Put Google’s Privacy Changes On Hold
Google announced last week that it would change its privacy policies for many of its online products, combining more than 60 different privacy policies into one single policy.
Google came under a bit of criticism after the announcement, and they then published some information explain how the changes would work, but now it would appear the the European regulators have asked Google to put these changes on hold.
Huawei MediaPad 4G Lands On AT&T
US mobile carrier AT&T has announced their latest Android tablet, the Huawei MediPad, and AT&T are aiming the tablet at business customers in the US and the device will be available from today.
The Huawei MediaPad features a 7 inch IPS multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels,m processing is provided by a dual core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor and it comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
Android 4.0 For Samsung Galaxy S II Leaked Again (Video)
We have already seen an early Alpha build of Android 4.0 running on the Samsung Galaxy S II, and now a new version has been leaked with the version number I9000XXLPB with a date of the 29th of January.
This new version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy S II is version 4.0.3 and it also features Samsung’s custom TouchWiz user interface, and this build is said to be a lot more stable that the previous version.

ZTE Optik Android Tablet Coming To Sprint February 5th
ZTE and Sprint have announced their latest Android tablet, The ZTE Optik, which is an Android Honeycomb tablet, and it will be available for $100 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Sprint.
The ZTE Optik features a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, and it is powered by a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and feature 1GB of RAM.
$265 Spark Linux Tablet Detailed And Launch Dates Revealed
Following on from the unveiling last week of the new $265 Spark Linux Tablet. The developers Spark project has today revealed more details about their new tablet which is expected to start shipping in May, with pre-ordering starting this month.
Spark project reveals that the new Spark Linux Tablet will be equipped with a 1 GHz AMLogic ARM Cortex-A9 CPU, supported by 512MB RAM and Mali 400 graphics powering its 7 inch, 800 x 480 pixel capacitive multitouch display.

AMD Outlines Its Processor Plans For 2013
AMD has this week unveiled its plans for the development of their notebook and tablet chips within 2013. The announcemnt explains that AMD will be looking to update its series of E-series and C-series notebook chips later this year, together with its Z-series, low power chips for tablets devices.
The next-generation of AMD’s laptop processors named Brazos 2.0 hav been designed as low voltage chips for thin and light laptops which use 9 to 18 watts of power, in a similar vein to the curret Brazos 1.0 chips. However the new Brazos 2.0 will support AMD’s TurboCore technology, and sport a number of new features.
