Google Voice For Android Gets Updated
Google has released a new version of its Google Voice app for Android and the latest version of Google Voice brings a range of new features to the app on Android devices.
Google has updated the user interface on both Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich devices and Android Honeycomb devices, and it also fixes a number of issue, which include the ability to queue outgoing text messages.

Hasbro’s iOS Lazer Tag Gun Game Arriving Later This Year
Hasbro has launched a newly updated version of their Laser Tag gun game which now uses iOS devices to provide the mechanics behind the system using custom designed iOS applications. Once the Lazer Tag guns have been equipped with an iOS device running the Lazer Tag app, players can then enjoy either single or multi-player modes. Playing against either real life foes or virtual opponents.

Sony PS Vita 3G Hits The UK February 22nd
UK mobile phone carrier Vodafone has announced that the Sony PS Vita 3G will be available in the UK from the 22nd of February, and it will retail for £279 and comes with a 4GB memory card and a pre-paid SIM card.
Vodafone will be offering an initial £5 top up on the SIM card which will give you 250MB of data that lasts for 30 days, and it will also come with WipeOut 2048.
Kinect Star Wars Xbox Bundle Launching 3rd April
Microsoft has announced that its Kinect Star Wars Xbox 360 bundle will go on sale in the US on the 3rd of April, and the console will cost you $449, which includes an R2-D2 themed console, a C-3PO themed controller and a white Microsoft Kinect sensor, plus the Kinect Star Wars Game.
Olympus OM-D E-M5 Micro Four Thirds Camera Announced
Olympus has unveiled their latest Micro Four Thirds camera, the Olympus OM-D E-M5, and this new camera takes its design inspiration from the classic Olympus OM line of compact 35mm SLR’s from the 70′s.
The Olympus OM-D E-M5 features a 16.1 megapixel Live MOS Sensor and TruPic VI image processing engine, it also features a high resolution electronic viewfinder, and a FAST AF, plus new 3D AF tracking.
Pentax Optio WG-2 And WG-2 GPS Rugged Cameras Unveiled
Pentax has unveiled its new line of “lifeproof” cameras, the Optio WG-2 and WG-2 GPS this week. Which have built on the success of the rugged Pentax WG-1. The new cameras mark the thirteenth generation of rugged “adverture-proof” compact digital cameras, Pentax has launched, and they will be available in red, white, black, and orange.
On the outside the new Pentax WG-2 may not look hugely different to its predecessor, but many of the changes have taken place inside. Which now includes a back-illuminated CMOS image sensor with a 16 megapixel resolution.

Olympus SZ-31MR iHS, 24 x Wide Angle Optical Zoom, 16 Megapixel Camera Unveiled
Olympus has today announced the launch of its new Olympus SZ-31MR iHS camera, which is equipped with a 24 x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens, 25-600 mm zoom equivalent in 35-mm format, and 16 megapixel sensor. Which allows it to simultaneously capture 1080p HD Video and 16-Megapixel still images without missing a frame.
Olympus’s new iHS technology has been designed to provide consistently sharp and vivid images in any situation. iHS reduces picture noise and enhances resolution and colour gradation despite fast-moving subjects, night scenes and other tricky to capture shots.

Microsoft Launches OneNote For Android
Microsoft OneNote has been available on Apple’s iOS and Microsoft’s own Windows Phone platform and now the company has announced the launch of OneNote for android.
One Note for Android is compatible with devices running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and above, and the applications is available as a free download.
TouchPad Android Kernel Source Code Released By HP
When HP originally launched their TouchPad tablet device it was never meant to be shipped running Android, but HP’s own HP webOS 3.0 operating system. Unfortunately though a number of TouchPad tablets were originally sold running a version of Android, which was thought to have been installed on the tablets for testing purposes. Then when HP went into firesale mode with their TouchPad tablets, selling them off for as little $99. Many modders picked one or more up to load Android on to it.

Logitech Touch Mouse M600 Unveiled
Logitech has this week launched a new style of mouse which follows in the same vein of Apple’s Magic mouse, in that it has no buttons just a smooth surface to use to click and swipe your way around. The Logitech Touch Mouse M600 has been designed to enable you to scroll, swipe and click wherever your fingertips may be resting on the mouse surface.
The new Logitech Touch Mouse M600 comes supplied with Logitech Flow Scroll software that enables you to have fluid scrolling whilst browsing, by simply sliding your finger along the touch surface. Todd Walker, brand manager for Logitech explains:

Google’s Chrome browser has become extremely popular since it was launched back in 2008, and now Google has announced that they are bringing Chrome to their Android platform in the form of Chrome beta.
Chrome beta is compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and works with all versions above Android 4.0 and it is compatible with both smartphones and tablets.
Motorola Goes After Microsoft For Patents On Xbox 360 And Windows 7
Yesterday we heard that Motorola wanted 2.5 percent of all iPhone sales from Apple, the information was revealed after Motorola obtained an injunction of sales of 3G enabled devices from Apple in Germany, although the devices were back on sale the same day after Apple appealed the decision.
Now it seem Motorola has another target, Microsoft, as they are seeking to obtain 2.25 percent of sales on certain Microsoft products, and the products in question are the Xbox 360, Windows 7, Internet Explorer 9 and Window Media Player, which Motorola claims infringe on two of their patents.
