Dell’s new 15.6 inch Precision M4500 is packed with the power of its big brother the M6500 but packaged in a more mobile unit. Due to the size constraints a few specifications have been lost but Dell offer you a choice of either Core i5 or Core i7 processors upto a Core i7-920XM Quad Core Extreme Edition with a NVIDIA Quadro FX 1800M or 880M graphics card.

The Dell Precision M4500 has a screen resolution of 1920×1080 and is a HD+ sRGB LED with 100 percent color gamut.

Lip-Reading Technology

A prototype lip-reading technology is on display at CeBiT in Hanover this week that can recognise the smallest of electrical signals created by facial muscles when a person is talking, without any syllables being spoken.

Professor Tanja Shultz of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology told the BBC  ’I was taking the train and the person sitting next to me was constantly chatting and I thought ‘I need to change this’.

Some iPhone Apps Left Out Of Apple iPad

It won’t be long before Apple’s [AAPL] new tablet goes on sale, it turns out that the iPad may not ship with exactly the same Apple applications pre-installed that are currently on the iPhone.

According to John Gruber of Daring Fireball, the iPad will not feature the Calculator, Clock, and Stocks application that are currently shipped with the iPhone.

MSI has added another ultraportable notebook to their X-Slim range with the launch of the MSI X-Slim X360. The MSI X-Slim X360 features a 13 inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768.

Apple Continues Its Crackdown On the iPhone App Store

It seems that Apple [AAPL] hasn’t finished its crackdown on the iPhone App store just yet, after recently removing any adult themed applications and also all the WiFi detector applications, Apple’s next target is ‘cookie cutter’ style applications.

These applications are basically applications which according to Apple has similar functionality to websites, so basically RSS reader applications like our own Geeky Gadgets iPhone App.

HTC Legend Review Roundup

The HTC Legend is one of HTC’s latest Google Android powered smartphones, it comes with the latest version of Android 2.1, and features a 3.2 inch HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display.

Asus Eee PC 1005PR Netbook

Asus has added another netbook to their Eee PC range with the launch of the Asus Eee PC 1005PR, which is based on the Asus 1ooPE. This new model features a 10.1 inch WXGA LED backlit display with a resolution of 1366 x 768.

It can handle HD content in 720p thanks to the included Broadcom BCM 70015 HD decoder, and it comes with an Intel Atom N450 Pineview processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM as standard with the option to upgrade to 2GB.
