Android gamers who might remember the unveiling of the Nyko PlayPad and PlayPad Pro controllers back in June of this year. Will be pleased to know that the controllers designed specifically for Android tablets and smartphones are now available.
Both the Nyko PlayPad and PlayPad Pro controllers connect to the Android tablet or smartphone using Bluetooth connectivity and will connect to any device running Android 3.0 and higher, with Bluetooth support enabled.
The controllers have been designed to be compatible with many of the Android games currently available from Google Play Store and other Android gaming networks and stores, such as Amazon, GameStop and Walmart, both on and offline.
The controllers have also been designed to work with Nyko’s free Android app called Playground allowing for backwards compatibility with the controller for legacy tablet games. Watch the video below to see it in action.
Both the Nyko PlayPad and PlayPad Pro controllers are now available to purchase for $40 each.
