Many use their home gaming consoles to watch movies and do other stuff, but when it comes to game consoles like the Nintendo 3DS, chances are you just want to play games. Maybe you will surf the web a little, or chat with friends, but mostly its about gaming.
Even so, many gamers like to personalize their devices. And for those people, you now can do this on the Nintendo 3DS. The Nintendo 3DS’ user interface has always been boring. However Nintendo has recently issued an update for the console that will let gamers choose from different themes. The themes are free and come in black, red, blue, yellow, and pink. That should make things more interesting for you.
If you want Mario themes or other characters, Nintendo will be selling them for between $0.99-$1.99 each. The update will also allow you to share screenshots by pressing the up/down button while holding onto the Y button at the same time, taking a screenshot of both the upper and lower part of your screens. You can be sure that Nintendo will be adding more themes for gamers to choose from down the road too. Gamers like to personalize so this is a good move by the big N.
