Nikon CoolPix P100 Super Zoom

Nikon has added another super zoom camera to it’s CoolPix range, with the launch of the Nikon CoolPix P100.

The Nikon CoolPix P100 features a 10.3 megapixel CMOS sensor, and a 26x optical zoom range, it also features and ISO range up to 3200 and features five way image stabilization.

The Nikon CoolPix P100 Super Zoom features a 3 inch LCD display and it is capable of recording HD video in 1080p at 30fps and it features a built in stereo microphone, plus a dedicated one touch movie recording button.

Other features include HDMI out, and a range of modes which include Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual Exposure modes.

The Nikon CoolPix P100 Super Zoom will be available in March in the US for $369, there are no details as yet on when we will see it in the UK and Europe.

I really love Nikon P100. In my first test last night after it arrived, I was blown away by the difference. Close shots of a ladybug on the orange tree v. zooming in on lamp posts across the street – everything was clear. I took a photo of my old car and it looked like a dealership photo. As an aside, I have no idea how the camera made the dirty car clean. I think I’ve made a right decision when I bought Nikon P100.
