NEC Unveils 65-inch V651 Commercial LCD

When it comes to a screen in your house, you don’t have to get one that is robust as a display that will be put into a commercial setting where people will touch it and mess with it all day. The average commercial display spends a lot more time actually turned on that a TV at home too.

NEC is a big name in the commercial display business n the company has a new offering that is called the V651. This is a commercial grade screen with a panel that is rated to survive public display and has technology to prevent images from being burned in. The screen has integrated 10w speakers so you can get sound loud enough to be heard in a crowd.

The panel is a 1080p unit, and it has connectivity, including VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, HDMI and more. The screen supports NEC TileMatrix to allow it to be used in a video wall. The brightness is 400 lumens and contrast ratio is 5000:1. It has a 60Hz refresh rate and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The panel is available right now for $5,299.
