Here comes another Asus Eee Competitor, the MSI Wind

Yet another manufacturer is releasing a small laptop PC aimed to take on the hugely popular Asus Eee PC, this time its MSI with the Wind.

The MSI Wind features a 10 inch screen, and will run the Intel Shelton’08 platform with various processor speeds for 1.0GHZ to 1.6GHZ.

The MSI Wind will also come with 1GB or RAM and either a standard 2.5inch HDD or SSD. Battery life is reported to be up to 7 hours.

The Wind will run either Windows XP or Linux, and should retail for around $450 to $1,000 depending on the configuration, and it will also come in a choice of colours, no word on when it will be released as yet.
