I don’t know about you, but I barely watch TV on my expensive HDTV anymore. When I do it is mostly Netflix and on my computer. It looks like I am far from the only one, but a recent Viacom study puts me in the minority. Most people now prefer watching TV on a tablet.
The study polled over 2,500 people nationwide and the results show that people are using tablets over computers and smartphones to watch their favorite shows. That isn’t likely to change anytime soon.
Tablets account for up 15 percent of full-length TV show viewings. This is thought to be largely due to the increase of streaming services and companion apps. I’d like to see a larger sampling of people however. With say, 5,000 people instead of 2,500 people. However, they would probably be too busy on their tablets.
