They were not impressed. It fell off of smooth surfaces with ease, and the only surface they could get it it to stick to reliably (a tree) left bits of bark in the gooey surface that is the "magic" of this device, suggesting it would wear out over time from continuous use. So unless this is a new version with a drastically improved material, I think I'll stick to my GorillaPod. Either Gizmodo or Engadget reviewed one of these a while back. They were not impressed.
