Monster has just released a new range of charges and transmitters for the Apple iPod and iPhone.

This charger does not work with iphone. Once plugged the iphone gives a message “this charger is not compatible….switching to airplane mode”

Actually I have this, and the iphone. It does work, and you can just say “No” to airplane mode. Charges and controls work fine.

I’ll note though that I’m on my second unit. The cord on the first gave out after only a week leaving that horrible cable noise or half of the speakers not working. The second is now doing the same thing and the controls no longer work. Will be returning it for another, for the last time before I ask for a refund.
