Microsoft’s Kinect has become extremely popular amongst gamers, it has also become popular amongst DIYers and hackers who have created some really cool Microsoft Kinect hacks.
Microsoft announced a while back that they would be released an SDK for Windows for the Kinect, and now they have previewed the Kinect SDK, with a beta version available some time this spring.
The video below shows the Kinect being used with the WorldWide Telescope, and it looks pretty impressive.
We suspect that when Microsoft releases the official Kinect SDK for Windows that the Kinect is going to become even more popular and we will probably see some amazing applications developed with it.
