Enhancing the software lineup for Windows 8, and keeping their promise to bring back Windows gaming with the release of the new operating system, Microsoft has announced Play for Windows 8 along with 15 titles.

It will be a while before hardcore gamers have stuff to play, but at least it gets things off to a start. The available games include Toy Soldiers: Cold War Touch edition, Elements: Special Edition, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Rocket Riot 3D, Reckless Racing Ultimate, Taptiles, Adera, Pinball FX2, Wordament, Gunstringer: Dead Man Running, Ilomilo+, Skulls of the Shogun, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, Microsoft Mahjong, and Microsoft Minesweeper. All except Toy Soldiers: Cold War are compatible with the Microsoft Surface RT.
It’s not a bad line-up I guess. More quality Xbox 360 titles would have been nice, but I am sure they are coming.
