Microsoft Kinect Hacked For Home Automation (Video)

We have featured quite a few different Microsoft Kinect hacks here at Geeky Gadgets, the latest one use the Kinect to control a home automation system.

As you will see in the video below, the home automation Kinect Hack, lets the user control his lights around his home, and it has been setup in a pretty clever way controlling various light depending on where people are in the room.

It certainly looks like a very cool use of Microsoft’s Kinect, with all the lights turning off and on depending where you are areound the room and also the way that all the lights turn off when you leave the room.
