Totally Geeky - Star Wars Collectibles - Limited Edition Boba Fett Helmet

Boba Fett’s inception is almost as mysterious as his character. What is known is that the unique Mandalorian armor he wears was designed and then fabricated in England well in advance of the filming of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Imperial Preservation Engineers have laser scanned an original helmet in the Lucasfilm archives, perfectly capturing the shape and subtle nuances of the face and dome and output a master pattern from which all production molds were made.

What that means is simple: this limited edition Boba Fett Helmet is the most movie-accurate helmet you will ever own (unless you happen to brave the clone army at Lucasfilm, break into Darth Lucas’ vaults, and steal a screen worn one). Not only was it made from scans of the original, but the paint and deco were painstakingly replicated from countless movie stills and production photos until every scratch and dent was exactly as it appeared when Jeremy Bulloch first wore it on camera in 1979.
