AT&T and LG have announced a new smartphone, the LG Thrill 4G, which is basically the AT&T branded version of the LG Optimus 3D. The LG Thrill 4G features a dual core 1GHz processor, and it will come with Android 2.2 Froyo.
The LG Thrill 4G features a 4 inch touchscreen display, which is capable of displaying 3D video without the need for 3D glasses, and it also features dual five megapixel stereoscopic cameras that can record HD 3D video in 720p.
LG is very excited to offer the LG Thrill 4G to the next generation of thrill seekers. We have taken mobile phone technology to the next level with another first to market feature, this time being 3D capabilities,” said Tim O’Brien, vice president of marketing for LG Mobile Phones. “This device elevates everyday tasks and entertainment to a new dimension of smartphone performance, giving LG Thrill 4G an edge over other devices in the emerging superphone category.
There are no details as yet on when the LG Thrill 4G will be available on AT&T and also no details on how much it will retail for.
