Korean manufacturer LG is launching the LG Optimus F5 this Monday. It’s nice that LG can offer a lower priced 4G LTE model and France will be the first country to release the device.
After France, the phone will be launched in South and Central America, Asia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). It features a 2150mAh battery, which will last most of the day. Under the hood is a dual-com 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4.3 inch display with a qHD resolution for a pixel density of 256ppi.
It also has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The back and front facing cameras weigh in at 5MP and 1.3MP respectively and Android 4.1.2 is supposed to be pre-installed. The LG Optimus F5 sports some of the proprietary LG features seen on higher priced models, like QSlide, which lets you use two apps at once by making one transparent and the other one solid, for instance.
