Owners of LG’s Google TVs might be pleased to learn, or have already noticed a new service appear on their HD TVs. This week LG has started rolling out an over the air update which includes the OnLive streaming games network.
The new update has been rolled out to the LG G2 Series TVs which have already been purchased, and from this week onwards will be preinstalled on future LG Google TVs.
LG TV owners can now navigate to their Premium Apps menu to access the OnLive streaming games network, enjoying a library of hundreds of video games to play on demand, from over 80 publishers.
“We are proud to be working with OnLive to deliver an incredible home entertainment experience with a full range of interactive viewing and gaming possibilities on LG G2 Series TVs,” said Georg Rasinski, Director of Home Entertainment Brand Management, LG Electronics USA. “OnLive’s premium-quality gaming service offers customers a great opportunity to test the dual-core performance of our G2 Series TVs. We think customers will be very impressed.”
